Sweetness of life & Rich heritage Lourmarin & Cucuron

Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, Lourmarin is one of the most beautiful villages in France, located approximately 35 km from Aix-en-Provence and 18 km from Pertuis. This village is famous for its castle listed as a historical monument and for the famous people who lived there: Raoul Dautry, Albert Camus and Henri Bosco.

Cucuron is a charming village with its heritage, the pleasant shade of the plane trees around its pond, the mildness of its climate and the song of its fountains. Don't hesitate to explore the squares and alleys of this magnificent village.

The Ochres & Delightful Detour Roussillon & Gordes

Gordes is one of the most famous villages in Provence. It is anchored on the heights of a rocky peak with buildings such as two abbeys, water and wind mills, but also hundreds of dry stone huts. During the summer season, the village is at the heart of multiple cultural events, festivals, concerts, museums and exhibitions.

Roussillon is a real geological curiosity, with its quarries of many colors: ochre, natural pigment, sand, etc. This landscape has been shaped by erosion. The Ochres de Roussillon are a multi-colored labyrinth, stroll there and discover the panels explaining the flora and the exploitation of the ochre quarries.

Water is omnipresent The Aigues Valley & The Bonde Pond

The Valley of Aigues extends over the southern part of the Luberon. Its capital is the Tour d’Aigues, its highest point is Vitrolles and its villages are Cabrières-d’Aigues, Bastidonne and Beaumont-de-Pertuis. All the villages have many plane trees and a pretty fountain.

The Étang de la Bonde is the largest body of water in the Luberon, located between Cabrières-d’Aigues and La Motte-d’Aigues. Naturally green, its setting is magnificent for walking and picnics in the shade of the trees, bordering its beach.

Castles to discover Cadenet & La Roque d’Anthéron

Cadenet is a tiered village on a hill in the Luberon. It is known for its feudal castle, its drum of Arcole, its troglodyte dwellings and its wicker culture.

La Roque-d’Anthéron is a village surrounded by magnificent wild landscapes. The village is known for its piano festival which takes place every summer in the Silvacane Abbey. The Château de Florans, with its splendid inner courtyard shaded by plane trees, is worth a visit.

Unmissable addresses Bonnieux, Apt & Ansouis

Bonnieux is at the top of the valley, facing Lourmarin. The architecture of Bonnieux, a papal city, bears witness to the prestige of its occupants over the centuries. Discover its treasures: steep streets, fountains, wash houses, old church, etc.

Apt is a city known for its forum, its triumphal arch, its temples, its thermal baths and its theater, but also for its many vestiges such as the Pont Julien and the Sainte-Anne Cathedral.

Ansouis is classified among the most beautiful villages in France. Stroll through this postcard setting of Provence, between the small streets, the rich heritage, the two museums and its Saint-Martin church.

From the Latin “Perthus” Pertuis

"Pertuis" comes from the Latin "Perthus" meaning "gap", "passage", which has always given it a major role in the development of the region. For a long time, the Durance remained this natural boundary between the Bouches-du-Rhône and the Vaucluse, the Pays d'Aix and the Pays d'Aigues, of which Pertuis is the capital. The river has favored the development of agricultural life in the commune, with in particular the cultivation of potatoes and asparagus . Benefiting from exceptional sunshine, Pertuis is known for its wine culture: "Côte du Luberon".
